Holiday airline refuses to fly air marshals: "In a sign of growing opposition to America's stringent new air security demands, the charter flight arm of Europe's second biggest travel firm, Thomas Cook, announced it would cancel any flights on which it was required to carry an armed air marshal. Thomas Cook Airlines, a German-owned charter carrier, which operates 40 flights a week through US airspace, to Orlando, Florida, and en route to the Caribbean, said in a statement: 'Thomas Cook Airlines has not changed its policy that if presented with a sky marshal on any of our routes, the flight would be cancelled.'"
