No War on Iraq, No Australian Involvement
"The "War on Terror" is not rhetoric but a real war in the original meaning of the term, namely the attack, invasion, conquest and occupation of foreign countries; with the killing and burning that necessarily accompanies such activity."

- this is my Indymedia article attacking the Howard government's predictable subservience to US Imperial policy. In recent weeks however some Labor opposition backbenchers (Lawrence, Brereton) have dared to voice some questions about the proposed war on Iraq. Sustained and growing grassroots protest is needed to stiffen the latent opposition within the Labor party.
