Blair's victory in Iraq: UK - US links put Britain in front rank for dirty bomb attack by al-Qaeda: "Britain is a prime target for a radiological 'dirty bomb' or suicide attack by al-Qaeda, one of the world's leading experts on international terrorism warned yesterday. The country is facing its greatest-ever terror threat, Paul Wilkinson, professor of international relations at St Andrews University, told a seminar in Aberdeen. Prof Wilkinson predicted the most likely method of attack by Islamic terrorists against Britain would involve chemical or biological weapons. He claimed that security authorities should also be on the alert for the threat of a dirty bomb attack, or a wave of suicide bombings against British targets. A leading anti-terrorism expert from the Metropolitan Police congratulated Prof Wilkinson on the accuracy of his analysis over the threat, saying he was 'spot on'."
