The problem for the Palestinians is that Zionist Israel now has and has never had any intention of ever withdrawing from the Occupied Territories (except when forced to). On the contrary the whole point of colonialist zionism is to take Arab lands by force, kill or expel the local population, bulldoze or destroy their farms and houses, and build Jewish-only settlements.
