Hudson's important paper published in 1993 by the New York Henry George School of Social Science which should be better known.

Anyone familiar with ancient history would know that the problem of land ownership, distribution, land reform and debt is a recurring feature of all those societies.

Well, they would if they got the Henry George idea in their head and cant walk out the door and down the street without looking left and right and wondering what the sale price, imputed site rent, and level of mortgage debt on plots of land is.

It's a tribute to the triumph of the usurers and the aristocracy the issue gets as little attention as it does.
